The main highway through Orlando is I-4. This highway is very congested during rush hour, which can run from 6:30 to 9:00am and 3:00 to 6:30pm. Try to avoid I-4 during this time. Toll roads can be a good option, including I-417, I-429, I-528 and the Florida Turnpike.

One main tourist area is International Drive. I-Drive is very pedestrian friendly. There is also a transportation system called the I-Ride Trolley that runs throughout the area. 1,3,5,7 or 14 day passes for the I-Ride are available that give you unlimited use for the specified time span.

Shopping at the Outlet Malls
Don't miss the Orlando Premium Outlets; every designer in a spanish look mall. It is located at the south end of I-Drive, near the State Road 535 exit of I-4. There is a Disney Outlet and a Universal outlet at Premium Outlets. Both offer substantial discounts on items found inside the parks including t-shirts and hats.

There are two major malls close to the Orlando tourist areas. The Mall at Millenia is upscale with Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Cartier, and restaurants such as PF Changs and the Cheesecake Factory. Mall at Millenia is located at the Conroy Road exit of I-4. Florida Mall is one of the largest malls in the state, anchored by Macys, Dillards, JC Penney, Lord & Taylor, with a large selection of specialty stores. Florida Mall is located at the intersection of Sand Lake Road and the Orange Blossom Trail, halfway between the Orlando International Airport and I-Drive.

Orlando Theme Parks
There are many theme parks in Orlando, including Disney's Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios, and Animal Kingdom, Universal's Studios and Islands of Adventure, and Sea World. The theme parks have a large variety of ticket media available, from one day one park tickets, to multi day, multi park tickets. Typically, the more parks and days that are included on a ticket, the better the value for the visitor.
